1961 Gretsch 6120

The last year for the single cut Gretsch 6120 and probably my favourite year from the filterton years.. As the thinner body and light trestle bracing gives for a modern feel which seems to get lost with the introduction of the double cuts  in 1962.

1962 Gretsch Tennessean

Its been a while since we  have had a Gretsch Tennessean  and this one has been worth the wait. No binding issues to report and the guitar plays really well and sounds strong, which is probably on account of its wiring loom being replaced with a TV Jones loom.. One of my favourite Gretsch guitars and massively underated and is great for shimmery chord work. Or crank a Vox AC 30 and your into Help!

1958 Gretsch Country Gentleman

Beautiful 1958 Gretsch 6122 Country Gentleman. I dont think there are many guitars out there that can sonically touch the single cut Gretsch country Gent and we have heard a few contenders over the years!

Gretsch 6130 Roundup.

Just arrived after 18 months from order is our Gretsch Custom Shop Stephen Stern aged Roundup!!

The guitar is simply stunning, and I have seen quite a few vintage examples of this guitar and Mr Sterns creation completely nails it. It comes with all the candy, strap and Gretsch kit bag. I strongly recommend early viewing on this one off guitar

1963 Gretsch Country Gentleman.

George Harrison famously owned 2 Gretsch Country Gentleman guitars, a 1962 version with dial up mutes that was destroyed after falling from back of  the Beatles touring car. And a 1963 version with flip mutes that he used on the 1964 Ed Sullivan show  which catapulted the group to lofty legendry status that we all know today.

Gretsch had to keep up! After they took 2 years of back orders over night for this guitar.. A rare guitar to find these days, and in the condition presented here practically impossible.

1966 Guild Starfire III

Nice to have a Guild Starfire with us again. We love the sound these Guild humbuckers make. Vastly underrated and make for a great useable first vintage buy. Comes with its original Guild case.
