I know this is one guitar that I will regret selling, it really has everything you need from an acoustic guitar and its a D45 the Rolls Royce of all acoustic guitars, and even today still a major score to finally own and enjoy.. A bit like a 50’s Gretsch White Falcon or a Burst…it doesn't get much better on a lot of levels. This example from 1976 is a super guitar that has evaded the the 70’s manufacturing faults that are well documented apart from its guard has curled and subsequently been replaced. Its a quality tortoiseshell replacement, and I think the guitar looks better for it. The guitar is a joy to play and like all the best instruments gets better as you play it in. After ½ an hour play its something else! A new D45 will set you back £7 to £8k £5250 gets you into the club.
