Its been a while since we have had a pre 1965 players grade Gibson ES 335 within our inventory. Looks like the previous owner tried to make it look like a 355 as it came in with gold hardware’ and the body has been blown over in a more 355 cherry type finish. You can see the original finish in the belt buckle wear area. It still has the gold Grover tulip tuners but we have replaced the bridge and stop tail with light weight aluminium aged reproductions.. The all important early patent pickups have been out, but are now back in the guitar and the loom has been replaced. A brass nut has been installed along with repro control knobs. Good news is no breaks or repairs, and it plays and sounds killer!.
