Beautiful early 1959 Gretsch 6119 in the not often seen dark red stain finish opposed to the more common red paint. The first model in the Gretsch line up to feature the zero fret. And has a 2 3/4” deep double bound body with light trestle bracing mirroring its 6120 brother. The guitar features an unbound ebony neck with neo classic inlays and the single PAF Filtertron pickup is in the perfect position to give the widest sonic range. No nonsense single volume control along with 2 way tone switch give it the “Hotrod” feel. Comes with its clean white Cowboy case which just adds to the class.
